Tendai T. L. Huchu

Tendai Huchu was Born in Bindura, Zimbabwe, in 1982. He dropped out of his Studies in Mining Technology in Harare and worked in a variety of fields after. He’s been publishing stories since 2010 in Lightspeed, Interne and AfroSF. Huch is a Rezipient of the NOMMO Award and was shortlisted for the Caine Prize as well as the Grand Prix de L’Imaginaire. In between novels, he’s been working on translation of Shona fiction into English and vice versa. After his more realistic novels “The Hairdresser of Harare” and “The Maestro, the Magistrate and the Mathematician” (unfortunately out of print) he turned to writing the urban fantasy Edinburgh Nights series. A short story of his is included in the German language anthology “Schlüsselorte” edited by Fiston Mwanza Mujila.
