Jörg Petzold

Jörg Petzold was born in 1976 in Karl-Marx-Stadt (today Chemnitz) in the GDR, studied Acting at the Leipzig Music and Theatre School. He was part of the cast the Staatstheater in Dresden and Stuttgart. He has been working freelance mostly in Berlin, Stuttgart, Hamburg and Halle since 2005. One of his main projects was the literary radio programme “Lesen und lesen lassen” for the Berlin station FluxFM as a host and literature expert up until February 2022. He has also worked as a voice actor as well as other radio shows. He is a host and presenter at literary as well as political events and creates podcasts – for Flussbad e. V. among others, and works for the NGO politics for tomorrow.
