Nora Bendzko

Nora Bendzko, born in 1994, grew up in a German-Moroccan Family. She is in love with black Tea, Metal music and all aspects of dark fantasy. As a writer she first came to acclaim after selfpublishing her gallows fairytales, before her debut with publishing compay Droemer Knaur followed in 2021 “Die Götter müssen sterben” (The gods must die). She has been working as an editor and sensitivity reader for several years, focusing on antiracist fantasy. Her dark fantasy remixes of – more or less – apocalypse and optimism have been shortlisted for several awards.
