Sine Buthelezi

Sinenhlanhla Buthelezi, born in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa has been living in Germany since 2016. Before moving to Germany, she was involved in the curation of the Goethe-Institut South Africa Literary Crossroads event which is a series of talks where African writers and poets meet to discuss trends, topics and themes prevalent in their literature today. Her interest in literature extends to various early development reading projects that promote access to books and reading in the mother tongue language. An avid runner, she ran her first marathon to raise funds in order to purchase isiZulu books for Grade 1 learners in Ngwelezane Township.
